Great place and value
We had and amazing experience here and my buddy and I would tell you to head to this place when in town and take it all in. Try the Mexican water it’s a fun experience….
Shout out to the whole team there that made it an amazing experience. Thumbs down to the ranger who came to tell us to speed up with when we were on pace for and in position for 4:30 round.
Great day
The golf course was great the people are very nice I have a great time and it's very good for the value drinks and food are included in the price of the round
Great Location but Nothing to Wright Home About
My wife and I were staying at a nice resort in Playa del Carmen and I had an extra day so \I decided to play golf at the golf course in walking distance from the resort. I booked via Golfnow and got a decent greens fee price, but when you add in club rentals, golf balls and a glove, it got pretty expensive. They give you 50 practice balls to hit on the range and they have an ok putting green, but it was pretty small and crowded. The course is tight with LOTs of trees and underbrush along the fairways. Be ready to loose a bunch of balls. The greens were small, pretty slow and surprisingly flat. The trick was getting to them from the fairways (they are well protected). The course was fun but it surely was nothing spectacular.
Amazing
This course was amazing. The conditions are what you would expect from a resort course. Everyone we dealt with treated like we were their only customer, truly appreciated the great customer service.
The food before and after the round was awesome and our waitress was super friendly/attentive to us even though there were at least 5 other groups in the facility.
So for the cost we got green fees, transportation to and from our hotel, breakfast, drinks and snacks while on the course and lunch and drinks after our round, totally worth the price.
When I come back I will definitely be playing this course again.
Memorable round of golf
Got a good rate on GolfNow. Played on a day when storms were passing through. Once it cleared we had the course to ourselves. The greens dried surprisingly quickly. Many interesting and picturesque holes made this round worth getting rained on. The staff was incredibly friendly and kept bringing free food and unlimited beer/liquor which are included in the rate. We definitely got our money’s worth.
Great course but Deal was not correct
Awesome, challenging course and great staff! The only bad thing was the reservation said transportation to and from was included as long as you were not in Playa Car or downtown Playa but they refused to pick us up as we lived still too close (Bali Residencial). Not the end of the world but was an extra $20 on top of the Round.
Too expensive for the Conditions
Layout is good, narrow fairways, though bunkers and difficult greens. Need some attention on the greens.
Skip it - far better courses
The course is old and in need of some love. Other comparably priced courses in the area are far better in challenge and upkeep.
The carts are ancient and rickety. The beverage guy was next to impossible to find.
If you want the cheap local course feel at country club prices….hit up the hard rock.
