RIVIERA MAYA GOLF CLUB, is located on the Mayan
Riviera, Mexico at 100 Km. south of Cancun’s
International Airport. With thirty six holes cut deep
into an ancient limestone quarry and fairways flowing
along the natural contours of a jungle dense with
mangroves and gum trees, limestone boulders piled
at the edge like rubble swept aside by Mayan Gods.
More than a game it is an environmental experience.
To ensure that this development offers to the golfers
an unparalleled experience, Grupo Pinero retained
the world-renowned firm of Robert Trent Jones II, best
known for having an environmental sensibility and
applying the latest technology, these golf architects
have successfully integrated the nature wonders of the
region with the design of the course.
RIVIERA MAYA
GOLF CLUB has 3 championship 9 holes courses plus
an executive 9 holes Par 27 course. At the practice area,
golfers will find 2 driving range tee boxes, a chipping
area with a bunker and a putting green that will provide
the perfect way to warm up before a round or attend
golf clinics or private lessons. Spanning 223 acres and
set within a total of 717 acres of tropical rain forest, this
is aimed to become one of the world’s leading courses.
The first 9 holes will be ready to open on Dec. 15th,
2009. The second 9 holes will be schedule to open on
February, 2010 as well as the executive.
RIVIERA MAYA GOLF CLUB is an impressive work of

II, has attained an spectacular synergy between the
36 golf holes and the lush Mayan jungle integrating
natural lakes and cenotes (sink holes) within the
rugged terrain. Players of all levels will find that the
design is both fun and challenging. Nature lovers will

and animals while playing a round. Gum trees, foxes,
coatis and dozens of birds are the everyday scenery at
our club.
